Hardwood Floor Restoration Prep Tips

How to Prep Your Floor for Restoration

Whether you are simply renovating an old home or want to spruce up your current floors, hardwood floor restoration is a great way to make a home look and feel like new. First, you will need to assess any damage to your floors. If you are only dealing with a few minor scratches and dings, or simply a finish that has dulled over time, you may be able to just buff it and add a new coat of varnish. But, even if your floors require a complete makeover, refinishing hardwood can be a manageable and rewarding DIY job that can save you a great deal of money.

It’s Best to Hire Experts

Hiring a professional will cost you more to do this project, however, will give you the end result you want. Saying that, if you do not have the budget to do this, below are all the tools and equipment you will need to refinish hardwood floors that will provide you with a professional quality result.
